Knick named Prince of Trinidad, Brian Charles Lara born in 1969. He has been ranked top among the greatest batsman in the world. He hold the world record of highest individual score in a test innings (400 not out against England). He has entered the book of wisdom with his mind blowing innings of 153 not out against Australia. He has played 131 Test matches and secured more than 11,000 runs , batting average of 52.88 and top score of 400. In ODI’s he has 299 matches under his belt with a total of 10,000+ runs , batting average of 40.48. On April 2007 Lara announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket, indicating that the West Indies vs England match on 21 April 2007 would be his last international appearance. “Pearl and Bounty Lara Foundation” was established in 1995 by Brian Lara, which is a charitable organization in memory of his parents that aims to address health and social care issues.
