Polo

A game that was played at the period of 5th century was first used as a king’s guard and training game for all cavalry games. It was played first in Persia and later on it was moved on to the Asian countries. It is a Team Work game, where the ball is of wood or plastic, they need to move the ball to their opposite goal point. The polo was modernized and was popularized by the British and also by the Manipur. Polo is not a rich game, it can be played by all common people who have their pony. Arena pole will differ according to the place as in United States it is like cowboy polo. Arena Polo is from the modern polo and it can be played by two ways, as indoor and outdoor. The recent polo is the beach polo which is played in sand, recently in UK. The popular game called Polocrosse is the combination of the sports and lacrosse, developed around 1930 in Australia. There are some variants in polo where it is not played on horseback. Positioning is the most important thing in this game, where everyone will have their positions with different responsibilities.
