Knick named the Bombay Bomba, Master Blaster, Little Master is the best batsman the world has ever seen next to Sir Donald Bradman. In 2008 he broke the record of Brian Lara to become the top run scorer in the Test form of the game with over 12000 test runs under his belt . Tendulkar was born in Bombay, 1969. He showed interest towards cricket right from the age of 2. He had good encouragement from his elder brother. He has played a total of 168 matches with 13000+ runs , batting average of 55.5 and 45 test hundreds .He has played 461 ODI matches with 17000 plus runs , batting average 44.4 and 4 hundreds with a top score of 186.Tendulkar has been honoured with the Padma Bhusan award, India's second highest civilian award, and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, India's highest sporting honour.
